HISTORY

2004 - Another great year for Storm. He spends 2 months in Trinidad, releasing and promoting his current album “Unleashed” which contains 6 new tracks, “Trini Carnival”, which received great airplay and rotation on most radio stations, “Bombay Girl”, a hot mix of Indian/soca/R&B rhythms, “Luv up on Me” a sweet groove, “Queen of the Dance“ a sexy infectious rhythm and “Wildness”, a banging soca track that took him to the Soca Monarch semi-finals, plus hits from previous years.
May – Headline - Colford Music Festival & Luton Carnival . June – headline act - Carnival Der Kulturen – GERMANY.
July - Headline act - Lewisham People's Day, Liverpool Festival, Manchester Carnival.
Aug – Headline act at Masala Mehndi Masti Festival on Toronto harbour front.
Sept - Trinidad High Commission Gala Awards - LONDON,UK – , Portsmouth Multivcultural Festival.
Also Uk carnivals including - Bristol Carnival, Walthamstow Carnival, Acton Carnival, Derby Carnival, Margate Carnival, Rochdale Carnival,

2003 - "The Fusion" is released in London,Trinidad, New York and Toronto in January. Album receives great reviews and airplay on both sides of the Atlantic. Various tracks from the album becoming very popular in many teritories, especially the Bhangra/Soca fusion "Show Dem".

Storm spends 2 months in Trinidad for the carnival season and performs "Puddy Tat" at Calypso Spektacular. The big hit "Show Dem" recieves great airplay and secures Storm a place in the Chutney Soca Monarch Finals. "Only You" and "Love ya Long Time" also prove to be very popular selections from the album with very good airplay.

On return to London in March, Storm travels to the Middle East to perform at the Doha Cultural Festival in Qatar.

2002 - Storm releases the track 'Soca Symphony' for Trinidad carnival. Track is produced by Ossie Gurley and remixed by 'Island Fury's' own Nelson 'Terry' Fraser. Storm performs in Trinidad and is semi-finalist in the 'Soca Monarch' competition.

Back in the UK, 2002 sees a very successful year for Storm making numerous performances nationwide. Highlights included headlining the "Coleford Music Festival", Spice of Leeds Festival, Rainbow Festival-Watford, Swanage Festival, Ryde Carnival-Isle of Wight, Mardi Gras - Hackney, Aberdeen World Music Festival and hosting the B.M.E Awards show in Stoke.

Sept-Nov found Storm in Barbados recording the new album "The Fusion" with producers Chris Alman and Darron Grant.

2001 - Saw Storm embark on his biggest soca ride to date with the release of the 'Can u handle it?' album. Included are some fine crossover tracks as in 'Rock ya ride' and the remake of the Eurythmics track 'Sweet Dreams'. Also included on this album is the anthemic track 'Oye Yeah' which has been sending audiences all over into a frenzy. The band continues to make a huge impact on the UK music festival and Carnival circuit.

2000 - Storm takes his band 'Island Fury' to perform in Trinidad for the carnival season along with the release of the single and video of 'Don't stop the Carnival'. Also releases 'Don't tie meh down' & 'Do it for the love' on compilation CD of Ronnie McIntosh. 'Island Fury' band plays on the road for mas band 'Trini Revellers'.

1999 - 'Stomp' album released along with the 'Stomp' video. Storm performs hit song 'What a feelin' at prestigious tent 'Calypso Spectacular' in Trinidad for the carnival season.

1998 saw the release of Storm's first full length album "No Fear", a 15 track CD which included productions by mega producers $hel$hok (Trinidad) ,Ossie Gurley (Canada) and Nicholas Branker (Barbados). The album has a diversity of tempos including a new hybrid of Soca and the East Indian rhythm of Chutney music. The tracks are mixed with rhythms of cool Reggae as in "Sweet", R&B as in"Aphrodiziac Lady" and "Nice", and Dance as in "Slave No More".

1998 - Storm performs calypso 'Thank you' at the 'Freshwater Yankees' calypso tent during Trinidad's carnival season. S.W is a Finalist in the 'Chutney Soca Monarch' competition with track 'Dance Dhoula'. The track 'Sweet' is also a big hit with much airplay internationally.
