The band was formed by S.W Storm in 1998 and consists of top musicians from both the Caribbean and the UK. Since 1998 Island Fury have gone from strength to strength delivering performances full of energy and excellence both nationally and internationally. Together they can be found far and wide performing at a variety of events including Carnivals, Music Festivals, Corporate events, and many other Social events. Under the 'creative' wing of SW Storm , the band have taken Soca music and delivered it to many an audience. S.W Storm and the band are also involved in exciting collaborative work that demonstrate the diversity and harmony of Soca with other music forms. Storm's music has strong influences of Dance, R&B, Indian, and Reggae music. With these many cultural influences in his music, S.W STORM is making leaps and bounds into the 'WORLD MUSIC' arena. Lineup: The frontline consists of Storm plus two female backing vocalists/dancers. The musicians consist of 2 keyboard players, Bass guitar, Lead/rhythm guitar, Drums and Steel Pan .
